ANTespaciok dibulgazio-sareak eratzen ditu, iritzi kritikoak sortzeko, eta ikusleen eta sortzailearen arteko distantzia txikitzeko.

vis a vis 2018

Vis a vis, which has been being undertaken in parks in Bilbao and  aims to generate encounters in essay format between two artists or researchers who do not know each other previously or who wish to undertake a line of research revolving around similar interests from the perspective of different practices and contexts. On this occasion, the meeting will take place at the Pergola in Doña Casilda Park. The form that this meeting takes on will be decided based on the conversation between both participants, and it will be designed for that specific space and open to the public. This event arises as a space for experimentation and exchange in which both guests will present their work in relationship with the work of the other person.  On this occasion, the guest speakers will be Ignacio García Sánchez and Paco Chanivet, whose work is about speculation and science fiction; Sahatsa Jauregi and Julià Panadés, in whose case we can sense a relationship on a more formal level in their sculptural installation pieces' resolve; and, lastly, Raquel Meyer and Saioa Olmo, who reflect upon technology in connection with the analysis of the social sciences. We will likewise rethink the way to document the event by inviting an individual related to art to capture, from their perspective and discipline, everything they perceive and find interesting as, after the meeting, a series of notebooks will be published.
